Suspension of application for initial registration

The Minister may determine that ASQA is not required to accept or process a class of initial registration applications for a period of up to 12 months. The Minister's decision and the period of time will be specified through a legislative instrument which will be published on the Federal Register of Legislation. ASQA will also publish information on its website as soon as practicable after an instrument is made. This provides flexibility to target high-risk applicants or courses, without disrupting other applications.
