Summary of default obligations

The diagram below provides a summary of your obligations if you default, and the time frames in which you will need to complete them.

Provider obligations upon default

1. Lodge default notices in PRISMS within three business days of the default day
   • Use PRISMS to give notices about the default against each confirmation of enrolment of a student affected by the default
2. Notify students of default within three business days of the default day
   • Notify each affected student of the default in writing
3. End of provider obligation period (14 days after the default day)
   • Complete arrangements for all students who have agreed in writing to be offered a place in an alternative course OR pay refunds to students
4. Notify outcome of discharge of obligations in PRISMS by seven days after the end of the provider obligation period
   • Use PRISMS to give notifications against each confirmation of enrolment of a student affected by the default about the discharge of obligations to the student
