Change RTO scope | Remove training products

Your scope of registration is the training package qualifications, accredited courses and units of competency that your RTO is approved to deliver at a point in time. Newly registered providers must deliver 24 months of its originally approved scope before it is permitted to make changes to it.

You need to notify ASQA online via asqanet to remove training products from your scope of registration. There is no cost to remove a training product from your scope.

We’ll let you know if we can’t process your application.

Before you apply | Requirements to remove a scope item

Before you submit your application to remove scope items, make sure there:

  • are no students enrolled in that training product
  • is no regulatory activity in progress for that training product, such as a performance assessment.

How to remove items from your scope of registration

To remove scope items, complete an Update Minor VET Details or Remove Scope form in asqanet.
